Stratus Gordon
Born Fitzgerald Gordon otherwise known as Stratus Gordon. Resided in Clarendon Jamaica. Attended Garvey Maceo High School. Started musical journey at a very young age. Introduced to music by a friend called “Supervisor Piggy,” then started Career as a dancehall artiste where I met Professor Nuts who brought me on many stage shows. Journeyed on to meeting Charlie Chaplin who introduced me to the Killamanjaro Sound System where I performed for a while. Preceded to record a few dancehall songs then later changed my genre to reggae.
Following my previous decision I recorded a few songs along with four music videos “Closer, When you’re gone, Love is like music and Abstinence featuring Iboidiki.” Also acted in local movies: “Crystal, Joe’s Redemption, Banana Island, Waiting for Billy Bob, Raychel’s secrets, Diamonds in Jamaica 1 and 2 and lastly Wrong Money 2.” During December 2019 I heard about DS Records based in New York and a good friend introduced me to the executive producer, Donald “Danny Soljie” Wright while he was on vacation here in Jamaica. He was impressed by my spectacular sound and I recorded my first song for him titled “One Way Lover.”
