At age sixteen, Fitzroy took to the streets to hustle and seemingly did all manner of odd jobs to sustain himself. It was at this age that he started to make life on his own and, he continues to state that his mother was the engine behind his endeavours. Now that he has a son, he is driven even more be a success.
He has been sharing stage with a number of entertainers and he is confident that one day some upcoming artistes will want to share stage with him. His musical journey started when he became a member of the Miracle Temple Church Choir, where he discovered his talent for music and singing. At this point in his life, he is now talking his music much more seriously and has been recording songs since 2010. His first recording was ‘Stand for the Poor’ at the Leggo Ghetto Youth Studio in Rollington Kingston. He is now recording and Move Up Records in May Pen, and recently recorded three new singles. Namely ‘Draw Nil’, ‘Life is to Live’ and ‘Police inna wi area’, which he is now promoting and making efforts to get them heard.
Fitzroy considers himself to be a jovial people person, and enjoys support from a number of friends and family members. Fitzroy sees himself as a well-established artiste in the next five to ten years, in which time, he hopes to a have quite a few albums under his belt, charting on the Billboard, and making the career that can sustain him and his family for a lifetime.
